STIG Compliance Series: Windows OS 2012r2
Cinteot is pleased to offer a course in the hardening of computer systems running the Windows Server 2012r2 operating system via the DoD STIG. The course will examine both the Domain Controller (DC) and Member Server (MS) roles of Windows Server 2012r2.
Our course is taught by an experienced, DISA RCP Certified Reviewer and focuses on the implementation of the Secure Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGs) provided by the US Department of Defense. STIGs set the standard for information security within the Department of Defense.
Our unique training program utilizes virtual machines in combination with DOD STIG protocols to provide an interactive learning environment for students. Students have the ability to implement the STIG protocols along with the lecture and receive immediate feedback and output. The instructor will walk through the STIG with the students and address every check and fix.
This course provides IT professionals with the knowledge and training needed to secure Windows Server 2012r2 utilizing the DoD STIGs in preparation for Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs), DIACAP Certification and Accreditation (C&A), and Risk Management Framework’s (DIARMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A).
Our course will also fulfill 40 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for CompTIA certification renewal.
